These are great bottles for travelling when you are formula feeding. They are best for use with powdered formula on long trips, because the liners are less bulky to pack and you can just pack water and pre-measured powder that won't go bad.
Not exactly cost-effective though, since you have to keep buying the drop-ins. You can rinse out the drop-ins to make them last, but that's not advisable when you have to sanitize your bottles, especially for newborns.
We stopped using them when we ran out of drop-ins, and then I gave the containers away. I think they are great for newborns to 3 months, when baby's tummies are most sensitive and you want to reduce gassiness. After that I always wind up using regular bottles.
