Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups Reviews

I love how easy these cups are to clean and put together. The valve is one piece with an arrow that directs which end goes into the spout side. There is no "sweet spot" you have to fiddle it into to make the cup leak-proof. If you push the valve into the right side, the cup won't leak. For cleaning, push the valve into a little slot inside of the lid and place in the top rack of the dishwasher. The slot holds it tightly and I have yet to lose a valve. I have been a child care provider for 14+ yrs now. I have always been a fan of the Playtex line of cups. However, I used to be able to buy replacement valves, and can no longer find them at my local WalMart or Target, leading me to believe they don't sell them separately any more. It's a shame having to fill our landfills with cups when the only thing wrong was that the valves were worn out, making the cups no longer spill proof. Playtex sippy cups are #1 in my book. With three kids I have tried many brands but keep coming back to Playtex. They are worth every penny, although you don't have to pay too many pennies to buy them. Other cups leak or the spill proof valve doesn't stay in place. Not really being familiar with what sippy cups were, I was in for a surprise.  I'd heard that they were spill proof, however I was a bit skeptical.  But after keeping my two year old niece I became familiar with the "sippy cup" and found that they really were spill proof. These are great. We have a million of them. They are easy to clean, easy to assemble, not messy at all and my daughter can make a mess out of anything. We have tried many spill proof cups and the Playtex Insulator cups are the best. I have a on the go 18 month old son who throws his cup, drops his cup, and constantly walks with the cup tipped towards the floor all the time.
