Parents all have mixed feelings about the milestones their baby makes.  Some are met with joy and happiness and others make you sit back and reflect and wonder just when your little baby grew up into a toddler!  One of the transitions babies must eventually make, is giving up the bottle and moving on to a toddler sippy cup.  My daughter bought several different brands with cute designs, but the Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cup was the one that impressed her the most and the one that she kept around!

Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cup

The Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups come in a variety of colors with different designs on them that small children will adore.  Each cup holds 9 ounces of liquid and have removable screw on tops.  The unique thing about Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups is that the tops contain a silicone valve that prevents the top from leaking.

You can purchased Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups in packages containing 2 or 4 cups each.  The 2-packs retail for $6.99-$8.00 and the 4-packs around $16.99.

These cups have a spout for drinking that is designed for toddlers who have already mastered sippy cups.  The cups are insulated to keep liquids cold.

My Experience with Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups

I have a couple of these at my house for when my grandson visits.  He is famous for toting his cup around with him around the house and is always constantly drinking.

The Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups do a great job of keeping water, juices or milk cold for several hours.  I would have to say that the best thing about them though is that they are indeed spill proof as advertised.  You can turn these cups upside down and nothing will leak out.  This is a great feature for toddlers because they knock cups over easily and this leads to a mess and a job for you to clean up!  Rylan often puts his cup on the floor when watching TV or playing on the floor and it will get knocked over.  I don't have to worry about my wooden floors getting messed up from spill because Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups do not leak or spill.  Yay!

Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups are also easy to clean.  They can be rinsed with warm water and soap or put in the dishwasher.  If the silicone valve wears out, you can buy replacement valves.  We haven't had to do this yet and Rylan has been using these cups for over 8 months.

The last feature that I want to mention is the unique designs.  All of them are colorful and designs that small children will love.  I think the Disney character designs are really cute and nice. They have a cute "Cars" theme and a Princess design that is cute for little girls.  They also have other designs like clouds and ocean themes.

I give Playtex Insulator Spill Proof Cups a high rate of approval.  They actually work as claimed and are very much worth paying a little extra for!

How nice of you to take the initiative to find out what cup works best and to store some at your house. Great review!

my little one is drinking from a sippy cup now and we need to buy more. Getting tired of washing the one out. I will try these, thanks!

We love these, too. Although, we keep losing the inside piece that makes them spill-proof, so my daughter still manages spills here and there. Great review though. I especially like your format.

Hey now, we are not old or getting old--just better! (My youngest two are fixing to be 22!!!)

These toddler item reviews make me realize how OLD I am. My kids are 23 and 18. Yikes!

It's been quite a few years since I've had a toddler in the house so I don't remember if they had these then or not. Sounds like a good product though!
