I had tried a couple of different slings and wraps with my baby and just couldn't really find on that I truly loved to continue using as my kids got a bit bigger. I was so excited when I saw the Playtex Hip Hammock Child Carrier as I thought it would be the perfect design to address the issue of trying to keep my squirmy toddler on my hip and still allowing me to have a free hand to grocery shop or hunt for something in the diaper bag while at the zoo, etc. I really really tried to love it but it is just uncomfortable...for me and my child. The shoulder strap digs into me no matter how I adjust it and it kills my back as well. My daughters legs seem to be pulled so far apart that it just doesn't seem like she can be comfortable and she starts to fuss and try to push away from me the minute I try to put her in it and she was never like that when I would wear her in my Snugli carrier so I have to think it is a discomfort issue with her. I wish it would have worked better for us but unfortunately it was not a good product for us.
