I am fairly petite and stands at 5'1" weighing around 110 lbs. I bought and took this playtex hip hammock carrier on a trip to San Diego and I tell you, it was not the most pleasant experience. I tried every conceivable way to adjust it but to no avail. It was more pain than anything wearing my 16 month old baby then. She's a a fairly small-sized peanut too. There was no way I could wear this more than 15 minutes without feeling pain on my back. It just didn't work for me. Perhaps it was only meant for taller or average size mommies. :(
