The Playtex Drop-Ins Premium Baby Bottles have become our baby bottle of choice in feeding our baby. We have used this particular Playtex Drop-In during the first three months that she has been with us, and it has quickly become the "go-to" baby bottle for me to assist with feeding time. The way that the bottle works, is that it is presented as basically the shell of a baby bottle, with no bottom. A little drop-in pouch is slipped over the top of the bottle, and into that the milk (or formula) is poured. The bottle then allows for the top (the nipple) to be screwed on, and you are good to go. It's as easy as it sounds, and really makes preparing a bottle for the baby that much easier.
The best part about using the Playtex Drop-Ins is that it makes the whole clean-up process that much easier. When the baby is done using the bottle, you simply un-screw the top, discard the drop-in, and wash the nipple. It's a no-muss, no-fuss approach to feeding the baby, and it creates a simple approach to not only preparing the bottle, but cleaning up after the feeding. This also makes it easier if you can't deal with the used bottle right away, and need to console or burp the baby. As you are going to be throwing the drop-in pouch away at the end of the cycle, you don't need to worry about cleaning up the instant the baby is done eating.
The bottle itself is really easy for you to hold for your baby, and the nipple seems to be one of the better ones when it comes to the baby using it. Our little one has used this bottle frequently, and has always come away with great results. Those results include very little spill out of the side of her mouth, as well as not putting too much air in her system during the feeding. She took to the Playtex Premium Drop-In right away, and it has been a great tool for us during many successive feedings. The only down-side to the Playtex bottle, is that the drop-ins have to be purchased separately, but we have found the 50-pack to be selling for a good price at most major grocery stores. We love the Playtex Premium Drop-In Baby Bottles, and highly recommend that other new parents try them out as well.
