When our first daughter was born with a low suck reflex we used Avent bottles as they seemed to work best for her. I breastfed exclusively but had to supplement using bottles until her latch and suck became productive for 2 weeks. When I had to go back into the workforce when she was 14 weeks old, she had to take a bottle while with her grandma. The only bottle she would accept was the Playtex Drop-Ins Nursers and she easily transitioned from the nurser to the breast. With my second, who is now 8 weeks old, she gets one bottle every day while I am preparing dinner and she has also taken to the Playtex Drop-In. I love that there is minimal cleaning needed and the plastic liners provide a more sanitary feeding experience. I don't have to worry about sanitizing and boiling the bottle at the end of every day because the milk touches a clean surface every time. This bottle did not cause any nipple confusion... even when taking straight from the bottle onto the breast. This is the only bottle I will buy/recommend for new moms.
