Not worth it.

Cons
    Refills are pricey, Have to reach into bag of dirty diapers, Difficult to cut plastic, Difficult to deposit diapers, Dirty diapers are heavy to throw away

I purchased the Diaper Genie II in preparation for my third child, hoping I would like it better than my earlier Diaper Genie. Nope. It's still a lot of trouble to use, and plastic holds odors no matter what you do. I'm now using individual bags for soiled diapers and switching to a stainless steel garbage can that won't hold odors.
