I absolutely LOVE Diaper Genie Refills...well the Diaper Genie II in itself is amazing. My, now two year old, little girl had some pretty disgusting diapers as a baby...and well a few now too...heehee. The Febreeze did not do the smell justice, so we knew we needed to get something that would really take the smell away. The bags keep smells out of the room and confined within the Diaper Genie II. Now that my daughter is two and about to be potty trained, I tell her "Yuck" and "Shew we!" when she has a stinking and I make her take the diaper to the Diaper Genie II. I am hoping that this will help her figure out that stinkies belong in the toilet and not in a diaper. For now, the smell will continue to linger, but not for long thanks to the Diaper Genie II bags!!

Playtex Diaper Genie II Refills pack works great for me . I was not aware of this Diper Pail before and I have received the same from one of my friend as a baby shower gift. It is doing the work very effectively for me. I was using regular trash bag prior to this and have to dump it at least in alternative days. This product holds the diapers for two weeks without any issue. It block the order effectively and I can place the Genie near to my changing table. The one thing I like is the pull down plastic bag .The refill of the bag is too easy, just open the Genie and cut the bag on the top, just pull down the remaining refill bag and tie a knot at end. This can be done in couple of seconds. No worries to find trash bag and spend more time to do the refill. The bag have enough strength to hold diapers for two week without any problems.The bag color is good.I am very much impressed with this Elite Diaper Gene II refill Bag, however I feel the product is priced bit high. I prefer to get the same in less cost and possibly more length, so I don't need to worry buying new ones frequently and change the same.

When I started my registry, it seemed that one thing everyone told me to get or at least I thought everyone got was the Diaper Genie. Now looking back a year later, I question why I registered for this. I love the diaper pail, but loathe that I am stuck buying these refills for it. They hardly ever go on sale, and don't seem to last me very long. It just seems like an expensive habit to get yourself into. The refills however are fairly easy to use, and easy to put  in and take out. I'm not convinced that they keep all the awful diaper smells out of the nursery but they do keep them at bay to some extent. I am curious to find out at what point do people stop using the diaper genie and the refills? Are there any cheaper alternatives to the Diaper genie refills? I can't seem to find any. I'm not sure I would recommend this product to my friends. I'm sure that there are other options out there that work just as well.

These work great!! My baby is only 12 weeks, but so far I have had no problem.  I do think the price is a little high, but I feel like I get a lot for my money.  The bag holds a lot of dirty diapers and there is absolutely no odor!  I was shocked the first time I used them.  I thought there would still be a slight odor in the room, but there is absolutely none.  The bags are very easy to tie off and I've never had a problem with the bags tearing.  They seem to be very strong.  I like how easy the bags are to use.  I think this is a great system and every nursery needs one!  I definitely plan on using these entire my son is out of diapers.  I had received 2 refill packs at my baby shower and at 12 weeks I'm still using the first one (and it looks like I have over half left)  That goes to show you how many diapers the bags hold!  (I only use them for dirty diapers - I put wet diapers in a regular trash can.)

**Playtex Diaper Genie II Refills (blue)** When my children were young we did not have the luxury of the Diaper Genie product.  What a great invention!  I have been using Diaper Genie II and refills for about three years.  It does a very good job of keeping down or controlling the smell of dirty diapers.  The refills are very easy to put in and take out.  I think each refill lasts about two weeks, based on just one baby being changed.  Diaper Genie is  a nursery necessity as far as I am concerned.  Diaper Genie II sure does make the disposal of your disposable diapers so simple and odor free.  The only complaint I really have is that it seems like the refills are quite expensive.  I do think they are worth it.  I think you just need to look around for the store in your area that has the best price.  Look for coupons and also when you see them on sale, stock up snce your baby is likely to be in diapers for about two years or so. ** **

I love love love the diaper genie refills!!! I am not sure what I would do without them- especially in the summertime because I live in the desert and the smell of stinky diapers in 115 degree heat is awful!! Since I have had my diaper genie I no long smell any stinky diapers even on the hotest days!! The biggest problem that I have found with the diaper genie refills is that they are expensive!! However I tired the walmart brand diaper refills and they are hard to use and you can't fit as many diapers in and the bags never fit properly. It is definalety worth the extra money for the convienience of the diaper genie refills. I always look for sales on the refills or at the very least I will use my babies r us 20% off coupon to bring down the price of the three pack refills. Also I would suggest looking online to websites that sell baby supplies because they will often do free shipping and offer 10- 20% off your order!

I love the diaper genie refills! They are so much better than the no name brands.... actually you can not even compare the no name or store brand to the diaper genie refills. The diaper genie refills are so strong and durable. The diaper genie refills controls the odour from the diapers even in the middle of the summer and we live in the desert and it still controls the smell. The store brand products similar to the diaper genie do not control the smell at all. The diaper genie refills are very expensive but are certainly worth the money beacuse they are the greatest product for containing the smell of dirty diapers!! The diaper genei refills are very strong and have never broken. I have been using the dipaer genie refills for almost a year now and have never been dissapointed! I just wish that there were coupons offered from the manufacturer. I definately recommend the diaper genie refills to all of my friends!

As soon as we registered for baby gifts during my pregnancy, we bought a Diaper Genie II to put into our nursery. Diaper Genie is a popular and familiar brand with just about everyone and we figured we couldn't go wrong. Everything worked great for the first three months of use and we had no problems whatsoever. However, after that, we had some issues. With the Diaper Genie II Bag Refills, they are so very expensive for a product that you have to buy very often, that became bothersome. Also, the bags stopped working like they were suppose to and would cause us to actually waste a lot of the so very expensive product to begin with. I love the odor blocking feature though. But i have grown so weary of buying these expensive bag, wasting them and having to deal with the mess. If you're looking for a product simply because you want to hide dirty diaper smell, then yes I would recommend this to you. If you're looking for something that will make diaper changes easier, I would not recommend this product for that.

We have had the diaper genie for about two years now and love it!!!!!!  But we love the refills because the price is not that expensive and the refill lasts a couple weeks.  It is so nice not having to put dirty diapers in seperate plastic bags so it doesn't smell.  The diaper genie with the diaper genie refill bags really keep the stench inside and it is wonderful!!  We used to have bugs because of the diapers but now it is awsome!  No bugs, no smell and easy to use and easy to put in the refills.  I really do not know what we would do without this product!  It is a great thing for every parent to have if you want a nice smelling room and don't want to have to worry about emptying the garbage ten million times a day :)  I recommend this to all parents and you will use it for a few years until they are potty trained. So it is worth the money!  Go get one now!!  The bags are also nice and strong and do not rip....very sturdy bags!  Never had one rip on us ever!  Amazing!

We got a Playtext Diaper Genie II as a gift and I was very excited about it. However, it seemed to have no purpose to me... The refills however, are easy to install. They are a little pricey but I just don't see the need for the whole system. I didn't have any problems with any bag tears or anything like that. They seemed to seal off the smell pretty well. I bought a pack of 3 which helped on the price but I quit using it before I used all the refills. I had a friend who loved hers but she also didn't take out the trash very often. I find that taking the trash out often is more benificial that using the Diaper Genies or these refills. I don't think the bags look very thick but they do seem to hold a lot in them with out a problem. I think my husband struggled some getting the bags out once they were full and I had problems putting the diapers in the bags to begin with. I have nothing against the bag refills, I just find the regular garbage can is better for us.
