Since then, the company's been modifying the PlayStation product line to better fit the competitive market landscape. As of August 2008, a new "bargain" PS3 is available with a larger, 80GB hard drive, and a "deluxe" model is due in November, doubling the capacity to 160GB. Both, however, lack backward compatibility with PS2 games and do not come with flash card readers. If those features are a must, it might be best to pick up the 80GB Metal Gear Bundle version on eBay while they're still out there.

Upon first glance, a $300 ~ $400 price tag for a game console might be a little hefty and hard to swallow. Playstation 3 is the best console to play with. I love playing it without the cord which makes it so much fun. Because you can play from anywhere you want in the room. And the controller can turn the game off for you when you press the power button. It is very awesome that the controller do some of the work. I like when I play because I played the DC Universe game. Sony's Playstation 3 (80 GB) is a wonderful gaming console and a fun way to pass time!  i highly recommend that you purchase one immediately and dive into the fun of a PS3!  there are many great features about a PS3 that should convince you to get one if you aren't already convinced.

firstly, the PS3 has a great wealth of games that you can play on the console.  the genres of PS3 games range from music players such as Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero to role playing games, first-person shooters and action/adventure games!

I feel that Sony's Playstation 3 provides the best bang for the buck when it comes to an entertainment system.  Not only is it backwards compatible (enabling you to play your old Sony Playstation 1 & Playstation 2 games), but it plays music compact discs (CD's), digital video discs (DVD's) and blue-ray discs (high definition - NOT HDVD).  And of course Playstation 3 games.  :)  Additionally, there is the Playstation Network, where you can download (for free, or a small price) short, comparitively simple games.  You can also purchase, or download, other things, such as wallpapers and themes...

the sony playstation 3  is by far the next wave in the gaming industry.the graphics are bar none the best i've ever seen and i've seen everything from colecovision on up.It is incredible how far we've advanced in our technology.The games are realistic,fast paced and highly addictive.No other system I've played compare to it and I've played on the x-box 360,not to say it's bad it is a good system but sony just swept it with their 80gb real life graphics.I can't wait until they come out with their next version!What's next,3D version games!who really knows what is up sony playstations sleeve.All...

The Sony Playstation 3 is awesome for anybody! Whether you're a gamer or not the Sony PS3 is so versatile there is nothing you can't do. If you are into photos you can download them to your PS3 and use a Photo Shop for enhancement just like you would with a personal computer. If you like on-line gaming then the PS3 is perfect, there are no fees to pay to play something the XBOX 360 doesn't have. Overall the Playstation 3 will fit anybodys needs.
