The playstation 3 is a great product!  I would highly recommend this for anyone!  The graphics look so real, with having higher capacity discs we get more for the price and a better quality!  I really think that this game has the best graphics of any console gaming unit!  The Playstation 3 also... review »

I do not own a Ps3 of any form. My friend purchased one a long time ago and I play it sometimes over his house. The system to me seems way to expensive for the common gamer. I do not have that kind of money to waste on the system alone. If it were not for the price tag the system would have gotten at...

The Playstation 3 is a really awesome system! I love that it I can have multiple user names, and that it automatically saves all my games, and user names. I also like that it gives trophies for the games I play, it it shares them with users on my friends list. I love that I can upload pictures and music to my Playstation 3. My wife really loves to make slideshows with all of our pictures, and she likes to incorporate music with them.

I really like that everything that comes witht the Playstation 3, can be charges using the USB ports on the system. All of my controllers can be charged on the system...

I have always been a huge fan of the Playstation. I got the first one on the day it came out, as with the Playstation 2. I bought the PS3 a week after it came out, and although there are not many games I like to play, the graphics are amazing. Not to mention the fact you can also use it as a blue ray player, which if you go out and buy one, that alone will run you more than the game system. I have yet to find any games that do not work from PS2 and PS1.

Although, I am a huge fan of the Xbox and the Xbox 360, I can honestly say that the Playstation 3 is the best video game console on the market.  For years I denied that the Playstation 3 was more powerful than it's rival Xbox 360.  Then I experienced some of the same games on the two different consoles and found that on larger more graphic rich titles, the ability of the Playstation 3 to push these games to the max overshadow the Xbox 360 by far.  Playstation 3 also initially offers what took Xbox 360 a few years to accomplish, which is the ability to play personal video bites such as AVI,...

This power machine gives us the best picture on the market as of right now. The deeper blacks give the playstation 3 an ultimate gaming experience, as if I am there in the game. Most people thought the playstation 2 did that with some games but the playstation 3 shows gamers what a home system should have.

This system uses it power to make each individual object a processor itself, if a game designer wishes to take to that level which most games on the playstation 3 show it's impressive and overall superiority. The gameplay is so descriptive that a person can feel like they are on the battlefield...

I bought my 80GB PS3 back in Feb. Honestly it was one of the best investments I've ever made. While really good games have been a bit slow to come out the system is backwards compatible with the majority of the PS2 games that I own. I have only found one PS2 game it won't play so far. Thing that I love about this system... until I tried watching one I didn't think much of Bluray after I watched a few I was hooked! The ability to watch bluray discs has been one of the biggest side benefits of owning this machine. Some of the exclusive titles have been awesome (like Disgaea 3 and Little Big Planet!)... review »

The Sony Playstation 3 is the best entertainment system ever created!

I admit the game library is not that of the Xbox 360, but the PS3 is so much more.  The PS3 has built in Wi-Fi, so you don't have to run a cable for the internet.  It has a built in web browser.  It has 4 usb 2.0 ports.  It takes SD, Compact Flash, and MemoryStick/duo camera cards.  You can rent and buy movies online from the Playstation Network.  1 HDMI port. No power cord "power block" to hide.  Plays music and pictures. You can even play video's right off of a memory card or usb memory stick AND save it to the...

The Playstation 3 is an absolutely fabulous console.  I bought it several years ago, when it was almost double the price it is now, so now's a good time to buy.  You get a blu-ray player with it, which is worth the price alone.  There is a wide variety of games to choose from, and the graphics are unbelievable.  The gameplay is button driven, and you don't have to dance and wave your arms around your living room looking stupid, like some other game consoles have you do.  The games are a pricey, but the prices are similar for other games on Wii or Xbox, so they're not unusually high.  When...

The Sony Playstation 3 is just simply amazing! I liked the ps2, but the ps3 is incredible. I was always an xbox fan myself, but the xbox 360 kind of let me down. I can't stand the fact that microsoft is still charging for online multiplayer. I know that the silver accounts are free, but why should we have to pay for gold accounts? Playstation doesn't charge anything at all (unless of course you want to download something from the online store). In my opinion, the only thing that the xbox 360 has going for it is that it's cheaper and it does have a couple of good xbox only games. I hate changing...

This machine can do just about anything provided you know how to opporate it.  Of course, if you know how to set up a computer then I'm sure you can figure out how to get the most out of your PS3.  The PS3 is literaly like a personal computer, because you can add anysize internal hard drive you want as long as its Serial ATA, and you can even install windows or linux on the new hard drives.  It has a built in wireless reciever that really picks up strong signals I might add, and the most stunning graphics you will ever get from a video game system when you pair it with an HDTV.  Granted there... review »

Playstation 3 is a great system. in never let me down before. Some awsome features are that every game is in blueray, you can watch blueray movies, you can share and put pictures, music, video on it. The online is great too. it is free and has voice. i enjoy playing online games with my friends or just chatting with them. One of my friends lives in Hawaii so it is very helpful for keeping in contact. Also a fn thing is the way you can custumize your main screen. You can change your backround to whatever picture you like and you can also change your theme which changes the symbols. Ome of the best...

Nice design with quiet operation; all games in high-definition; PSP-like user-friendly interface; plays high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to upscaling standard DVDs; built-in Wi-Fi and flash media reader; 80GB hard drive; online play is free; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply; free online gaming service; plays PS2 and PS1 games; backwards compatibility is hardware based.

The playstation 3 is AWESOME.. although I don't believe I've been allowed to play it since Christmas. The graphics are amazing. I have a 25 year old TV, my picture is crisp and clean. Best of all it plays PS2 games, and blu rays. Why go out and spend $400 on a blu ray player.. when you can get the gaming system, PS2 gaming system AND a blu ray player.

There's general agreement that Sony stumbled out of the gate with the PlayStation 3. Months of intense hype were followed by a late launch (fully a year after the Xbox 360) and a staggering $600 price tag for the deluxe model. Even worse, the PS3 didn't initially have any real must-have exclusive titles, and despite the power of its vaunted Cell processor, multiplatform games from third-party developers didn't look appreciably better than the respective titles on the Xbox 360.

Since then, the company's been modifying the PlayStation product line to better fit the competitive market landscape....

I had sat on the sidelines of the next gen video games up until a couple of weeks ago. I had tried Wii almost as soon as it came out and was captivated by the motion sensors but the limited availability and sameness to the games as well as limited graphics was frustrating.

Xbox 360 the $50 a year subscription and more importantly it lost the Blu-ray/HD battle were big no points for me. I enjoy games, my wife does not. She does enjoy movies and the internet. When I pointed out that PS3 was a Blu-ray player (with excellent reviews) and could let us surf the internet, she was all for it.

I have an...
