Finally Sony gets into the 21st Century

Playstation 3 - 60GB —

Well Sony you finally made it into the 21st Century. XBox has been out for how many years now. And you were bold enough to think that the PS3 was worth more than an Xbox?

Now that the price has been dropped ($ 399) for a 60gb it is now a reasonable alternative. The game selection has been limited so far, but in recent months, there are more releases coming. I chose the PS3 because of its' blu-ray capability. Considering the price of a single blue ray player and a game console combined, it is not a bad deal.

The only real negative is the blu-ray does not automatically upconvert standard DVDs', although they are compatable and the quality is decent because of the HDMI connection.

The battle between HD and Blu-ray is still waging on. If HD wins out, I guess I have a nice game console still.
