A Game for Mature Audiences with lots of replay Value.

This version of Grand Theft Auto I would say is my favorite of them all. San Andreas was the first in the series to allow you to swim in the game and although it takes a little getting used too it is a load of fun.

Game Play

The character you play is Carl Johnson (CJ), an African American who must rid the gangs from his hood and retake what is his. You start off at the airport and must fight your way back home through gang territory and all you have is a bicycle to begin with. This Grand Theft Auto game here still is just like the popular previous installments and you know what that means. You get to steal any vehicle (from bikes to a harrier jet) in the game if you want to become a much better anti-hero but what has changed is this game takes place in the 1990's. The good news about the new star of this game is he's African American, something you don't see in video games too often especially one this big. I play all sorts of games , watch tons of people play games too. The same people who watch shows with violent themes would play this game. It ruins your mind & makes you harm the ones
you love. Why abuse others or worst murder someone? Why cut your own life too short or others for this game. I may own one game that is sort of the same thing as Grand Theft Auto.
But, my game is based on a t.v. show. I own The Simpsons hit & run game. It may be crude,twisted, a tad bit violent & harmful by hurting people too. But, at least there is no nudity or killing in this game. If there is a killing theme to... read full review »

I play games SOMETIMES, but not very often.  I basically played this game to placate a child, then found myself enthralled by it's fast pace, great graphics and "excitement level".  I was going to play for a few minutes, then next thing you know, it was an hour and a half.

Grand Theft Auto, besides being the most engaging and fun game (worthy of continual repeat visits) in the Rockstar franchise to date, is also quite possibly the best video game ever invented.  For adults, of course.  Yeah, there's plenty of swearing, violence and adult content, but GTASA is not based solely on this.  The storyline is very interesting, the characters are entertaining and well-developed, and the gameplay is limitless!

This is one of my favorite games.  It's typical GTA with a HUGE environment.  It has many missions that can get a bit repetive but still maintain a healthy level of fun.
I spend hours just driving around and committing felonies. It has parachutes, jets, jetpacks, and tanks.

The visuals are a bit sloppy as is typical for GTA, but the customizatoin attributes are a nice touch.  You can change how the main character looks from clothes, hair, and even physical attributes. I like driving my SUV with wires and hydros and then hitting the nitrous when the cops come chasing.

I love the San Andres game it is one of the best games out. I play this game all day long and it never seems to get old or boring. There is tons of action and fighting, and driving around. I wouldnt recommend anyone under the age of 18 polaying though because of the graphics and the fighting. This game keeps you on  your toes and you never know whats going to happen next.

I love this game.. just as much as I loved Vice CIty.. At one point I played it every single day for hours.  Its a good game that you can stop playing for a while and then pick up right where you left off. We (my husband & I) have had it since it first came out and we still haven't finnished it. We play it here and there and I don't ever lose intrest..

It is Litteraly hands down the best game of its time. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas had me hooked for hours at a time, I suggest they make a newer but very similiar game to it.
