This is a great product for a child to play with and use their imagination.  We have quite a bit of tinkertoys, both the plastic and wooden.  We have had the wooden sticks break here and there, but we have yet to break one of the plastic ones.  Overall, it is a great constuction toy, but the wooden ones are not as durable as the plastic ones.
