Playskool Busy Poppin' Pals
The Playskool Busy Poppin' Pals was a must-have toy for my son. I had a pop up toy similar to this growing up and I recalled playing with it a great deal, for what seemed like hours.
The concept of the toy is to move the varying levers and buttons to make animals pop up from a closed position. Once the animals have popped up they can be pushed back down into the waiting position again. It is great for learning cause and effect, colors, numbers and animals names. When each animal is in the closed position a number shows. When triggered an animal pops up. Each lever triggers a pop-up of the corresponding color.
We began giving it to my son at age 1 and he enjoyed watching us make the animals pop up for him. A few months went by and he learned to operate the triggers to make the animals pop. Now he is learning to count along with the animals as they pop up.
Playskool Busy Poppin' Pals is made of durable, thick plastic and has proven to be strong through hours upon hours of play.
I paid around $11 for this toy.
