My daughter received this toy as a gift last Christmas, when she was just a couple months old. Obviously, the fun was lost on her until she could sit up and crawl on her own. She had fun watching mom put the balls in and chase them all over the house again. Now that she's walking, she has more fun putting the balls in the hole (along with everything else that will fit in there!) She likes to reach into the top and grab the stuff back out. She's never gotten her hand stuck, so that's a good thing!! She hides her binkys down in the hole and thinks it's real funny to watch mom search high and low for the bink when she knows where it is the whole time! :-)

When the batteries are fresh, the balls definitely shoot all over the place, but as the batteries wear down it seems to quiet a bit, and we don't have to hunt for the balls as much. Also, the fan just quit working (due to batteries).

Overall, it's a fun toy that we've played with for a good long time. No interest lost on this one!
