Playskool Busy Ball Popper Review

The Busy Ball Popper made by Playskool is a wonderful activity toy that is great for keeping my toddler busy.  The mechanics are easy: a battery operated fan creates a wind tunnel, in which rests 5 colored balls. The blower pushes the balls out of the top into a tray and down a spiral chute and into the tunnel for another ride.  We ordered extra balls, which were very affordable, and when added, they give the toy another dimension.  With extra balls, the machine blows the balls further out of the toy and all over the floor.  This, in turn makes my little girl squeal with delight.  Then she promptly tells me to catch them and put them back into the machine.  She thinks this is a great game to play with mommy. The only downside to the toy is that it is battery operated and so I anticipate that I will have to keep many D sized batteries on hand, because when the batteries are dying, the toy will not blow hard enough to push the balls out of the spout. Also, if the balls are misplaced, no other ball that we have tried has worked.  They are lighter and larger than ping pong balls and other toy balls do not fit.  However, it is very easy and affordable to order replacement balls from Playskool.  I think all children between the ages of 9 months and 2 years would LOVE this toy!
