This was a gift for my son and we got it out for him around 11 months. He had a blast watching the balls fly through the air. He figured out how it operated in about 2 seconds but that made it more fun because he thought the more he pressed the button the faster the balls would fly. He then had fun shoving other things into the popper, which was a good lesson in "square things not fitting into a round hole". He would then use the balls for other games, etc. We probably had the toy out for about 5 months and he got enjoyment out of it the entire time.
