Both my 2 and 4 year old loved this toy.  Once those balls started popping out and flying all over the place - they were hooked.  I didn't see them move like that since they played with their Elefun - which is also a great movement toy!  yes - the balls do go a little crazy - but if you put it in an area where you can fish them out easily - it's not a problem.  One of te things I liked most about this - is that when you are done, the balls all go right inside - so when you go to play next time - the balls are all right inside waiting.  This is such a great interactive toy - one of my ten best!
