Playskool Busy Ball Popper —

My son saw this Busy Ball Popper at a friends house and loved it so we got him one for his first birthday.  He loved it, but after a while I didn't.  Yes, I do like the interactive part, and its easy for the kids to use, they loving hitting the big red start button over and over.  It does entertain a lot of different ages (if you can get them to share).  However, the fan is fairly loud and although the music is "fun" there is only so many repetitions I can stand.  I wish there was a way to turn the music off but still let the toy run.  We also can't seem to find a happy medium for the strength of the air.  Either it blows to hard and the balls fly out all over and we have to go find them under the furniture, or the battery seems to lag quickly and then the balls don't seem to come out very well at all.  My son lost the balls to it quite quickly, and I think that's why it doesn't seem to work the best, but I don't like the idea of constantly having to replace the balls to get it to work right.  Since the balls don't work really well with the few we have left, my son has taken to putting other toys into it, so I often now have to get them out for him, and a couple of the smallest bit of toys have actually gotten down into the fan area.  Unless they fall out easily, its hard to get stuck items out, because the front cover does not remove without taking a billion screws out.  So its good, just not as good as I hoped it would be.
