My Viewpoint!
I have been using these books to help my 4 year old daughter learn to read. Since she mastered phonics so quickly, Level 1 learn to read books were our next step in the reading process. We started out by having me read these out loud to her pointing out certain words such as F OX and sounding out the phonics. I always read the books in sequence, as recommend in the parent’s manual. My daughter is now trying to read these to me. She has a lot of the words memorized and that is a great step in pre-reading. We are on Level 1 Skill book and this series goes up to Level 10. As your little reader advances in reading, there are book sets to help her every step of the way. My daughter and I highly recommend Playful Pals Level 1 by Nora Gaydosto kickstart your child’s love of reading!
