PlayStation 3 - Assassin's Creed Reviews

• The graphics engine is superb.  The environments are highly detailed and richly varied.  You feel like they've gone back in time and recreated the Holy Land's cities during the Crusades.
• The character animations are excellent and fluid.  Fight sequences and scaling of buildings/leaping from rooftops are very well executed.  The fights in particular have the feeling of a Hollywood action movie that you control.
• The storyline is solid and interesting.  There are two stories going on here.  The main character that you play is an assassin...

I have actually been waiting to "SEE" this game. My son has been talking about it for months and while I'm not a big player myself the story caught my attention at word one. We got the game recently and the entire family spent about 3 hours 'helping' my oldest son work his way through the first bit of the game. It was a laugh riot really even with the serious storyline and the amazing graphics to go with the amazing plot. Helping find hay bales and directions it was just really cool and I love anything that can involve us all and get everyone laughing.

My son's a serious gamer and it lightens...

From the start, Assassin's Creed sci fi story element is intriguing. The
stealth/blend/assassin story really develops.

Graphics are nice, the unique level design is welcome, though the game gets slightly repetitive after the first few kills.

The graphics are great, while the cities all look a bit the same that might be historically accurate. I love skulking rooftop to rooftop sneaking up and assassinating guards with my hidden blade. Sword fighting is fun too, with counters/blocks etc.

The vertical exploration really makes the game for me. If you want to go as the crow flys you can, just climb...
