It was another year, so it was yet another WWE Smackdown wrestling game in 2004. Normally I don't care too much about the series since the early Playstation One titles were pretty much crap and that 2007 edition was lame too but this time the guys and gals over at Yukes and THQ really created one fine face breaking game here.

This game came out after Smackdown Shut Your Mouth and before Smackdown vs. Raw and this was the third game in the series for the PS2. If that cover name sounds weird 'Here comes the Pain' was former WWE champion Brock Lesner's chase phase before he left the company to do...

WWE Smackdown: Here comes the Pain is one of the best WWE Wrestling Video Games ever made.  The roster is stacked with mega stars such as: The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Batista, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldberg, Undertaker, Kane, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio and many more (not to mention the wide array of divas you can use as well).  The gameplay is some of the most enjoyable among wrestling titles.  The story mode is vast and full of options that will change the outcome of your story.  Whether your Superstar is on RAW or Smackdown, you will have fun using the story...

This game is damm good it has good features comparing it too the past versions of smack down and in this game if u hit someone the will stay pinned for sometime and if u hit them few times theyre gona start bleeding the storyline however is not good. But the new finishers and table, chairs, and ladders finshers puts a excellent mark on the gameplay but the graphics should be better so the design is not good

Another year, another Smackdown game from THQ is what many fans of the genre expect. But can THQ and Yukes once again live up to the hype? You better believe it! The fifth installment in the Smackdown series, WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain, delivers an updated roster, gameplay mechanics, and new match types along with many other bells and whistles.

great game, good feel. not as good as the newer ones, but still a classic. the controls are a bit awkward but once u get the feel for it. it gets very easy. great selection of wrestlers from that time, even tho many are no longer wrestling. a definate buy for a wrestling fan.
