Play Doh Duffel Works Review

All of my kids loved to play with Play Doh.  My youngest really enjoys it so I am always on the look out for new Play Doh sets for him to play with.  I found the Play Doh Duffel works set for just $9.99, and although the pieces in side are classic they are still good pieces to work with when playin with play doh.

The Play Doh Duffel Bag is actually a Play Doh set.  Not including the duffel bag itself there are 15 pieces.  The package says it comes with 4 cans of Play Doh and over 10 accessories there are actually 11 accessories and I don't know why they could not just say that. 

The duffel bag itself is mostly clear, it is the shape of a long gym bag.  It has two handles at the top and zips opened and closed.  It is made of plastic and has red cavas handles and some yellow detailing. Inside the duffle bag it is seperated in to 4 sections, 2 outer sections are where the Play Doh goes and the center section is for the accessories. 

There 4 kinds of colors of Play Doh are pretty standard colors, there is green, yellow, blue and red.  They are standard sized Play Doh cans.

There are enough peices in here to keep my son busy for a long time.  He of course makes a big mess because he does a lot of cutting and little pieces of Play doh go every where, but that is a typical problem with Play Doh itself and not something that is the specific fault of this set.  I like that when my son is done he has a nice little bag with a handle on it to put all of the pieces back in side of it.  It is also very easy to store.  I like the imagination that this set helps to inspire as well.  For the price I paid I am very pleased with this basic Play Doh set.

The other 11 accessories include a pair of scissors (Play Doh scissors not regular scissors), 6 cookie shape type cutters:  2 of them have shapes and there is a different shape on each side, there are stars circles, diamonds and clovers.  The other ones are animal shape cutters, there is a dolphin, a penguin, a sea horse, a turtle.

There is also a rolling pin of course, so that you can roll out the Play Doh before you cut it it or push shapes in to it. 

There is also a press that makes little snakes, or noodles as my son calls them. 

There is also a piece that you put Play Doh inside of it, and then put a shape stick at the end and push it and the shapes come out in the shape but like a snake. If you have had other Play Doh sets I am sure you can figure out what I mean here.

All the shapes and accessories are in different colors. 

All of the accessories fit easily in to the duffel bag, this is nice because a lot of the time once I open a Play Doh set I can never get everything back in to the package the right way.  There is even a little excess room where you could sneak a couple other little things in there if you want to. 

Since it comes in this nice little back pack with handles it makes it nice to carry.  This would be a nice little set to take to a baby sitters house or a relative who might not have kids who is going to babysit, it will give your child something to do while they are there, and the 4 cans of Play Doh and accessory options make it easy to share with more than one child. 

This set only costs around $9.99 so it makes a great inexpensive gift and is more than worth the money.
