I drive a lot and I need to use the phone a lot so I thought this would be a good option. It works okay for me to listen, but other people say I sound like I'm in a tunnel. I really don't even use it that much because I need for people to be able to hear me clearly. It fits well, but I prefer speaker phone when possible over this. I have been a fan of Plantronics bluetooth headsets for several years. When I broke my first Plantronics headset at the earloop, I couldn't repair it so I started looking for another one. When I saw the Plantronics Discovery 925, I was afraid I would have trouble wearing it but because it was on sale I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed about it is how solid it feels, not flimsy at all. It is so lightweight and balanced just right. The various sized gel ear tips are very nice. It fit perfectly in my ear and didn't wobble at all. It has a nice big call control button which lets you answer/hang up calls, make calls, and voice dialing mode. The sound quality is great on both ends. It has a handy carrying case which is also a charger. You can either charge it in the case or directly charge it by plugging the charger into the headset itself. It lists a 5 hour talk time and 7 hour standby time. Most impressive to me was the range. It lists a roaming range of up to 33 feet! I think I was able to get more than that because I would often set my phone down on the counter and walk all over the house with the Plantronics Discovery 925 and it never lost the connection. It also allows you to connect to two bluetooth devices which is another great feature.

I think as far as bluetooth headsets go, this is pretty good. A lot of what I review may not apply to you because I think the phone itself is a big factor when it comes to the quality of the sound that you hear when using this bluetooth headset, so be aware of this fact when reading this review. My phones used are a RIM Blackberry 8830 and a RIM Blackberry 9550 (aka Storm 2). I wish I could've used another manafacturer other than RIM but alas, those are the only 2 phones I have at my disposal. First off, the pros. This headset is very light, and very comfortable. You can barely feel the weight of it while it's on your ear. The silicone or rubber matter is also very comfortable. Because it's so light, it doesn't need the ear wrap around piece that you see on other bluetooth headsets. The charging method is quite unique in that it is a charger as well as a carry case. The sound quality is adequte. There is some static, and "I couldn't really hear you" moments, but I've had these with other headsets including the jawbone. Pairing is very standard and straightforward. All in all, a recommended BT headset.

This headset is relatively simple, because it only offers voice activated calling and redial as its two hands-free features. You can answer or reject a call, end a call, make a call, transfer a call between earpiece and phone, or swap between mobile phone handsets, all by pressing the call button at the appropriate time. When using the 925, I found that on my end, reception was **very** clear. Since the headset is so amazingly light and the eartip grips so well, the 925 didn't move at all when I whipped my head from side to side or when I shook my head forcibly; I suspect that it could be worn when jogging, but I did not test that theory. It proved to be quite comfortable through hours of wear, as I simply forgot that I had it on. Overall, I was quite pleased with the Discovery 925. I went into this review thinking that it would be yet another Bluetooth headset, but it pleasantly surprised me with its good looks and comfortable fit. If you want a simple to operate headset that can pair with more than one mobile phone, that looks good and sounds good as well, then this may be the one for you.

This is a great tiny beautiful looking headset. The design makes it look much more high tech than the cheapo ones. The sound quality is loud and clear, and features noise reduction with no hallow sound, obliterates my Jawbone Prime. It also comes with 3 size earpieces to fit whatever size ear you happen to have. The talk time is about 5 hours and over a week standby but is further enhanced by its best feature. The leather carry case includes a NiMH battery that will recharge it as you go! You can use USB or the wall charger and charge the headset itself, or the case with a bypass. The headset is extremely light, weighing in at only 8 grams. A hook is no longer necessary and it almost disappears in your ear, you'll forget you have it on!  Connection is always active and stable. I never had it disconnect randomly like some other headsets. You can also link two phones, though sometimes it may get confused if you have both phones on.
