Plantronics - 320 Bluetooth Headset Review

Recently my wife and I got some new cell phones. One of the nice features about it was that it has a speaker for hands free use.  This worked for me for a little while.  The problem was that I used this feature while driving and the road noise made it hard to hear anything on the phone.  I decided that I needed something that will help correct this problem.  I didn't want a wired earpiece.  I have always found them lacking in sound quality.  They also get in the way.  I decided to get a Bluetooth head set.  I went with the Plantronics 320 Bluetooth set.

The 320 is a simple wireless Bluetooth set.  It has a built in rechargeable battery, a multi function switch (on/off, volume control, answer, end call, and setup), and it can be adjusted to fit on either ear.

When I first took it out of the box I had to be charged.  Using the provided wall charger I was able to give it a full chare in about two hours.  Per the instructions, the headset can stay on for up to 280 hours in standby mode (not in use).  Usage time is about eight to ten hours.

After charging the battery it was time to set it up with my cell phone.  Following the directions, I was able to have it set up and communicating with my cell phone in less than two minutes. 

Using it was extremely easy. As long as it is on and the cell phone is set up for Bluetooth It will work. The instructions are very helpful in its usage. I find that the clarity is excellent when listening.  Those on the other end say that I come though very clear.

The only thing that I don't like is that it can get uncomfortable at times.  If so, I just stop using it.  This doesn't happen often but it happens. 

Over all I really like this set.  It only cost me $49 at Best Buy.  I would defiantly recommend this product.
