When the discovery channel started filmimg Planet Earth I don't think that people would love this series. These dvds take you to places that everyday individuals would never get to see. My family has watched this series over and over again. When there is nothing else on or when the cable is out everyone will sit for hours and watch these dvds. The kids loved the polar bears and their babies climbing through their hole and sliding down the hills. These dvd bring real life right into your own living room. The footage that was caught is unbelieveable and it makes you realize why it took so long for these dvds to be filmed. The plane earth series is my family favorite discovery series.
