I have to say that I am VERY disappointed. I was VERY upset when they went to these HUGE pieces of veggies on the pizza, but now to take away regular pork sausage and only have Italian sausage is crazy. Italian sausage is just gross, greasy, horrible on my tummy and it irritates me that it is now no longer available to be purchased at any Pizza Hut. I understand budget crunch, but are you KIDDING? There is NO more?? That is crazy. Is there anything we can do to get it back? Sausage was one of my kids favorite kinds of Pizza Hut Pizza. Now, they don't have it. I think it stinks that they don't have it. I grew up with it and now so have my kids and now it's gone. Pizza Hut has lost a huge portion of my business as of right now. I will be buying more Papa Murphy's and Little Caeser's! lol

I just don't understand why they would do it? There has to be some reason I am sure, I just don't like it!

Pizza Hut pork sausage was the only sausage pizza me and my kids ate, and now we go somewhere else to have cheese pizza. Pizza hut has lost are business till they bring it back.

I was told that it didn't flow with their "All Natural" campaign so they decided to remove it from the menu. I'm with you. I haven't been to a Pizza Hut in 9 months.

Found out today why they did it. Number crunchers at corporate decided it was too wasteful. It was supplied only in forty pound bags and some stores could not use the amount before it had to be thrown away.

Phone calls to regional upper management will be our only hope to get the topping brought back. Do NOT use the 800 complaint number because it will only create a communications loop between store manager and you and lower end management.

Ask your store manager for the number of the highest up the food chain VIP they will give you and call them.

I suggest they pressure the distributor to give them the option of 10# and 40# boxes and let the store order what it will use.

Second, a rename campaign to make people aware of the two different sausage types and to give them more identity.

We are done there until they bring it back as pork topping was the only meat topping we ordered.

Yes I totally agree and dont order pizza from pizza hut anymore!

Yes, you can still buy it from a box. Around here, the only pizza place with pork sausage is papa johns. Everyone else has went to Italian. YUCK!

we just tried to order a pork sausage pizza from pizza hut and was told all they have is italian sausage!! yuck! The only 2 toppings my husband eats on a pizza is pork sausage and onion. Guess we'll be making our own from now on. Does Chef Boyardee still sell the kind in the box that you make yourself? What a shame.
