This is a collection of all the animates shorts that are on the Pixar movie DVD's.  So that means that you may already own many of them.  However, if your children are like mine they enjoy these shorts even more than the movies and we end up watching them over and over again.  We got this DVD to have them all in one place and very accessible for things like plane & car trips (which are long with a 3-yr-old and 1-yr old).
