My husband and I decided to repaint our home. We looked at a variety of paint samples and choices from different companies around Tucson. We got a color from Pittsburgh Paints called Araibian Sand. Our home owner's association had dictated that whatever color we chose had to match the current color on our home. Of course, there was no current palatte or suggestions. So, we had to determine which shade would come close. They helped us out every step of the way until we had the Arabian Sand picked out. We bought two 5 gallon buckets to get the job done. We crossed our fingers, rented a paint spryer (our home is stucco) and got to it. When we bought the house it was covered with different color cracks that had been repaired. The repairs were good - but the sight wasawful. So, we hoped that repainting the exterior would cover those up and improve the look of our home. It did!!! All the cracks blended in now and the house looks just like the others on the street. (well, really close!!!) I suspect this new "facelift" for our house adds at least $10,000 to the value... but we'll see.
