Minor Plot Details — At the start, a young Elizabeth Swann is sailing with her father and crew. She finds a young Will Turner floating in the water alone and they save his life. Wow what a performance by Depp. He is at his best when he has a colorful character to play. — I do like the mix of good and evil in all of the main Pirate characters. Oddly enough the only thing I found disturbing with this  movie was that it had some of the same characters that are found in all Disney Movies, and I found that sad. I only like to watch movies once.  But, there are few, I like to watch over and over again. — — This is one of them! — — I love all the same actors they had in previous Pirates of the Carib.  The actors suit the characters very well.  Jack Sparrow (Johnny D) is just awesome!  From sexy, smart, silly and double crossing, he really does a great job. — — I like Orlando too (who doesn't?) Loved the movie. The characters were well designed and the actors chosen were well matched. The ability to create action, comedy, and romance all in one makes this movie great for a wide variety of movie goers. The wardrobe for the period was excellent.    The first Pirates movie...was Fantastic! I was super-glued  to the screen through the entire thing! It was colorful,thoughtful,bursting with energy and roaring with laughter. I love this movie and would recamend it to any one that likes Johnney Depp he is great in this movie and he is funny and entertaining through the whole movie his carrictor has a witt about him...
