Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Review Summary

Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp are at it again in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. After you've seen the first two in the series, The Curse of the Black Pearl and Dead Man's Chest, viewpoints reviewers are urging you to rent the third! Reviewers are attached to Jack Sparrow, the character played by Depp. Though part two of the series was a cliffhanger, At World's End doesn't leave you hanging. "The second one great! The third one, even better!" There are a few reviewers who were disappointed saying "this movie was so long and that I lost interest", however the majority of reviewers recommend the film for the great special effects, humor, excellent acting, and of course, Johnny Depp.

I have been a fan of all three, and this, being the last of which, I completely adore. : ) — The beginning as usual starts out the movie with an adventure partial to our favorite pirate crew and ship. As some have said ' Even I wouldn't mind sailing with these pirates' and I second the… read full review »

There are spoiler paragraphs below, but they're clearly depicted, so fear not! The Case — I really wanted to like it.  Honest I did.  I wanted to be blown away, like I was with the original.  But this third movie just couldn't pull everything off.  At World's… read full review »

I LOVED IT, I LOVED IT, I LOVED IT, I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! — How many times can Disney and Johnny woo me? — Oh man all three movies sent me on a ride like no others. — The only problem with this movie was that ...IT WASN'T LONG ENOUGH — oh and yes I would like to have seen Keith Richards a bit more, just to compare Johnny's interpretation of him. — I think it would have been a gas to see them two alot more together. — Anyways, I loved the movie, the characters were great, the story plot was wonderful and the fact that they filmed "Dead man's chest"… read full review »

The writers really left this one open to a sequel.... Could we be so lucky ? — It would have been nice to have gotten more information on the pieces of eight and their full — meaning . The story left some things too open for interpretation and others ( the whole land of the dead thing) were over - explained . — The computer graphics were really in sync with the characters and looked to be believable , — a step up from their predecessors . — Depp stayed true to the quirky character of Capt. Jack . —… read full review »

I had to rent this movie as soon as it was out! I own the other 2 movies and it was worth the wait to get my hands on this one! — I will be purchasing this movie for my own collection, and also a copy for my Dad. — I almost cried at the ending, it was just sad. And I am sad that this was the end of the Pirates movies! Maybe I just get too attached to the charactors. I've been sadly dissapointed before when my favorite TV shows are cancelled. — When stories are written as good as this has been, it's hard to say farewell. Thankfully I have these on DVD and can revisit them… read full review »

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, I must say, is a must see movie!  Though the Second part left you hanging at the ending, the third won't!  The first was awsome.  The second one great!  The third one, even better!  Johnny Depp's character an awesome character filled with halirious scenes and "language".  If you're a fan of Depp's film, this is a must see movie!  If you love adventure and romance thrown together!  This is your movie!  A great movie and a great cast gives you a friday night with popcorn and friends.  Have a good time! —… read full review »

Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End delivers to its fans.  It ties together and resolves the plots from POTC 1 and 2.  It pays tribute to its fans by referring to lines and situations from the first 2 movies. — The action is fast paced and keeps you glued to your seat.  The plot is something you must pay attention to.  I appreciated the fact that you have to think and pay attention to what is happening throughout the film. —  It is a wonderful resolve to the trilogy. — … read full review »

This third edition to the pirate of the carribean, was not as well written as the first two, but I did love Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom in the movie. However I did not care for the multiple personality issue of Jack.  The ending made me feel like they were going to make another pirate movie.  I was definately expecting a better ending, for a finale.  I did purchase this movie, the day it came out. For the limited edition, extra footage dvd.  All around I love the pirate movies, and so do my kids. Thumbs up for me. —… read full review »

This was the best of the 3 alot more action and comedy it's a movie that I would watch again. My most favorite part of this movie is when they all figure out why Jack is run from side to side and join him, except for the two who tie themselves to the mast thinking that they are going to end right side up when the boat tips over.  I also loved it when Jack saved Will after Davey Jones stabs him in the heart it shows that he's not just out for himself that he actually as heart. —… read full review »

At World's End was not quite as good as the first two,  but Johnny Depp was great as Capt. Jack.  He and Orlando Bloom where the same as in the others.  As I watched it I didn't realize how long it was.  This trilogy is one that can be watched over and over, because you will see something new that you missed before.  I think a fourth would be good in 4 or 5 years. After all since Will may have a son when he comes ashore again.  This is a DVD  to… read full review »

I was looking forward to seeing the third installment of the Pirates series.  I wasn't disappointed.  This movie achieved everything from making me sit up straight in anticipation to wiping the occasional tear from my eyes by the end.  This movie had it all.  I was very happy that they introduced more awesome one-liners as well as referred back to previous quips and such.  I am definitely buying this… read full review »

I was kind of dissapointed of this movie. It started out confusing for me and then ended the same way. When it got to the point of being completely unbelievabe, I actually fell asleep. I love all of the charactors, but they didn't play off eachother as well this time. I would watch it again, maybe with my kids this time. It does help explain parts about Davie Jones, but it doesn't help with much else. Thanks for… read full review »

After watching Pirates 2, my son begged me to go see Pirates 3 which I did not do. Instead I bought Pirates 1 and enjoyed it almost as much. So for Xmas I bought him Pirates 3 and before he finished opening the rest of his presents we had to watch this movie. I give it a positive review especially for being a Triology, it also keeps the kids busy because it is long but keeps you completely interested. —… read full review »

This Pirates was definitely better than the 2nd one, but it was waaayyy tooooo looooong!  Three hours? Puhleese!  And a lot of crazy mythology. If you don't like fantasy, you won't like that part. The most redeeming part is the very end, after the credits, when....no, I won't give it away!  Rent it first, then decide if you want to buy it. I probably will cuz I want to have the complete set… read full review »

I loved the first two installments of this series and I honestly enjoyed the 3rd film, but the main complaint has to be that there are just two many plots whirling around in one film. Ultimately, they all come together to make a cohesive unit, but until the end I was often scratching my head and wondering just what was going on. —… read full review »
