I buy both the country gravey , peppered and reg. We find it comical to trust what the package describes, and find out that the reg., verses the peppered, can win by a long shot, for being hotter than the peppered package. We have found that this situation goes vice-versa as well, the quality control, is sleeping on the job.

Pioneer brand pepper gravy mix is a very important staple in my pantry. For our family it has many different uses. It is so easy to make biscuits and gravy for breakfast. I don't really like my kid's having cereal everyday so I like to cook them a nice filling breakfast. It does not take long at all. We also mix it with hollandaise sauce to make our chicken fried chicken gravy. The have forty five calories per serving so I don't mind having this often.
