Quick View: The Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet is an amazing big, soft sheet that absorbs water quickly. The sheet washes and dries well and doesn't fade. But it does leave little lint pieces on me quite often, even after several washes. I have no idea why.
My Take on the Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet
These bath sheets are 39 by 71 inches and weigh about 38 ounces. They're made in Turkey using a special cotton fiber that is supposed to absorb twice the moisture and be twice as thick as regular bath towels and bath sheets. Pinzon makes bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and even bathrobes as well as bath sheets.
I bought the blush colored Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet not because I like pink but because, with all guys in my family, I never get my own towels to use. I thought a blush pink color would deter them from stealing my big, soft bath sheet but alas, it has not. I saw my 19 year old son pluck it out of the clean clothes basket and run into the bathroom to take a shower. And we have about 100 other towels he COULD have used!
The sheet is very thick and soft and really does absorb moisture super fast. I even use part of it for my hair and it really gets the water out fast. The sheet can be machine washed and dried and doesn't shrink or fade but only gets softer.
The one thing that bugs me, and would even if I didn't pay $39.99 for ONE bath sheet, is that it leaves lint on me. When a towel is new, I understand it leaving behind some little fibers but, usually after a wash or two, that isn't an issue. I have found that, with the Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet, it still leaves lint on me after many washings. However, it's not THAT big a deal. It's just a weird little annoying thing.
Otherwise, I am super happy with this bath sheet and plan to buy at least one more in blue for my son and a few bath towels as well. I have yet to see the bathrobes but imagine they are very plush. I am on the hunt for one.
My Viewpoint
The Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet comes on a variety of colors and is great for males and females. It's huge! And it's super soft and cuddly. It absorbs moisture better than any other towel or bath sheet I own. It would make a great beach towel but, at $40.00 a pop, I'll keep it inside, tyvm. I like my Pinzon 600-Gram Hydro-Cotton Bath Sheet and give it 4 stars. I hope the lint issue won't be an issue with future purchases of this brand and style of towel.
