Quick View: Inexpensive and decent flannel sheets you can use year round. Not top of the line but good enough for me!

About the Pinzon 150 Gram Solid Flannel Queen Sheet Sets

As I write this, it is July and we are in the middle of a heat wave. Flannel sheets? I think not. However, in a blink of an eye here in New York, it will be chilly then freezing again and I will pull out my Pinzon 150 Gram Solid Flannel Queen Sheet Sets and warm up my bed once again. I actually wouldn't mind using these sheets all year round because I keep my bedroom freezing in the summer so I can cover up and these would be fine. But I suppose hubby has to feel like he has SOME say so I let him choose the type of sheets he prefers in the summer. ANYWAY, these sheets come with a bottom and top sheet and two queen sized pillowcases. They are actually quite thick and soft and get softer with every washing. I have never had an issue thus far with fading or any sort of running of the colors - and I have all the colors. For $39.99 for a queen set, you really can't go wrong. I like to change the sheets often and I have lots of these sheet sets on hand. I like pine best because the basic scheme of my bedroom is green (for now) but all the solids are bold and equally as inviting.

The sets have an 87-by-105-inch flat sheet, 60-by-80-inch fitted sheet, and two 20-by-31-inch pillow cases and are 100% preshrunk cotton. These were made in Portugal. They will fit a thick mattress (up to 15 inches). I have a foam topper on my mattress and these sheets are deep enough to fit with a bit of room to spare. I think they're just fine. There are softer sheets out there but, for under $40.00, I will take a few sets of these and enjoy the softness, warmth, and variety of colors.

My Viewpoint

Pinzon 150 Gram Solid Flannel Queen Sheet Sets are not high class, ultra luxe flannel sheets but they are really good sheets for the price. They seem to go on sale a lot and I was able to snag a few sets for under $25.00 this past winter. They hold up well and are soft. They don't shrink nor are they made too skimpy for queen beds like some sheets sets I have. I say go forth and buy a set or two. Flannel sheets rule in cool weather! 5 stars. They are not the best but, for the price, they are an excellent buy.

I LOVE flannel sheets, but they are usually too pricey for me, I will have to look for these!
