Pink Hair Studios - Gail or Chris (owners) - Bloomingdale, IL Review

Primo hair stylists in Chicago's suburbs?  Yes, indeed!  Pink Hair Studios is just fabulous -- and there's nothing pink in the salon!  Chris and Gail are the owners, and they are artists in coloring and styling -- the works -- they do great work and are a lot of fun, to boot. 

Before finding Gail and Chris, I commuted to downtown Chicago (an hour) on weekends to have my hair done at a trendy uber-salon.  That got old fast, as weekends are so short to begin with.  When I met these gals (working at a different salon in town) I knew they were special -- and then on separate occasions they each did their magic on my hair.  FABULOUS.  I suggested that they strike out on their own -- which they said they'd actually been considering.  They finally did, and now they're keeping lots of gals (and guys) in the Roselle/Bloomingdale area very happy with their styling ways.

Give them a try if you're looking for something different, are dissatisfied with the service you're currently receiving, or just want to feel like a million bucks.  Not only do they do great hair, but they have created a friendly and fun environment where everyone is made to feel special and pampered.  They have a fine selection of hair products as well.  I've never gone wrong with any of their recommendations. 

And if you go -- be sure to ask Chris how she got her once-in-awhile gig on Jay Leno as one of "a couple of blonde hair dressers from Chicago."  Most entertaining!
