To the Point

When we are camping we use a variety of fire starters mostly because we buy small packages. At home though we use Pine Mountain Brands Starter Loggs by Conros Corporation.

A Closer View

We get boxes of these logs and pay about $10 for a box of 24 sticks. They come 4 to a package and there are 6 packages in each box. I like Starter Loggs because I find them less messy than other brands. Each log is 6 ½ long by 2 inches deep by 1 inch high. That's a pretty big log. We've paid $1.00 at camping stores for one stick of whatever brand they have and it's a much smaller stick.

I find that ½ of each log can get a fire started rather than a whole stick making the price very reasonable.

They are made up of a combination of wax and pure pine sawdust.

These are made in Canada and come with a satisfaction guaranteed policy. Tips on how to make a fire are on the package.

I like it!

I wish I had a woodstove in my house.

Sounds like you should buy a box a take a package when you go camping.

We need to start fires down here in GA, too. It's getting cold. :>
