Pilot Automotive -- Motorcycle License Plate Frame —

I wanted to add a bit of Blng to the back of my V Star so I have been looking for a license plate frame. I didn't want something that stood out by itself, I wanted something that added to the overall look of my ride. I looked at many and I finally found just the right one to blend into the flow of my V Star.

Pilot Automotive Raised Eagle License Plate Frame

This frame has a raised eagle on the bottom of it and it is triple plated show chrome, which will not rust and look good for many years to come. The outer edge is 3/4" wide and the eagle is very detailed with it's wings spread out as if it was in flight. It is a hefty 1/4" thick so it will stand up to the wind and vibration. With 4 enlarged bolt holes it will fit even on motorcycles that are not exactly drilled to the size of a standard motorcycle license plate.

Installation was simple and took me about 5 minutes, so it is not a hard job for anyone to do. Plus it looks really sharp sitting on the back of Lil' Blue!

Bottom Line

I looked at many frames with a wide array of prices and looks to them. I like the Bling it adds but I liked the price even more. Most of the ones I found with anything on them started at around $20 and just went up from there. I found some with gold on them but I didn't want that as it didn't blend in with my theme but rather stood out.

I now have a nice frame that enhances the look without detracting from the bike as a whole. Plus I found it for less than $10, you don't have to spend a lot to get a good look but you have to be patient while looking! My son in law bought me a pair of Skull bolts to dress it up a bit and I like the look too!
