PICKETY PLACE

Pickety Place is a beautiful place in Mason, NH.  It is literally a cabin in the woods where amazing food is cooked.  Every month, the people at pickety place come up with an exciting new menu of all healthy foods to serve to their customers.  The customer gets to choose from two drinks and two main dishes.  I recommend going with a person and buying opposite things in order to taste everything. Everything is great! Anyway, they have great gardeners who go out and fix the most beautiful gardens.  In the summertime and spring, flowers are everywhere! The place is a sight, but there isn't a lot of room so I recommend getting a reservation. A lot of women drag their husbands there, but it is a great choice for a ladies day out.

The drive there is hard, especially if you were to run out of gas because there are no gas stations for miles around it.  The hill to Pickety Place has a bumpy dirt road and parking can be difficult.  But they do have the greatest little giftshops.  Those too can get crowded. It is about $15.00 a person, and I think that they have special meals for kids too that are lesser in cost.

The first gift shop is in the restaurant and it has a room where you view a cute recreation of Little Red Riding Hood with dolls.  They sell copies of Children's Stories and Fairy Tale dolls and puppets.  This is a great place for kids to look around.

The other gift shop is bigger.  They sell a lot so the room is cluttered.  It is like a barn and there are a lot of nice things to buy in there.  There is jewelry, candy, little momentos, the recipes for the meals, cookbooks, tea pots, etc.  A little more grown-up. You have to use the little pathways outside to get there.  Also, from there you can go to the greenhouse where herbs and plants are sold.  There is a lot of cool stuff.

I recommend going in the spring or summer because of the beautiful flowers but the dining room is open seven days a week with three private seatings a day. 11:30, 12:45, and 2:00.  Bring your daughters, neices, grandmothers, aunts, you could even be one of the girls to drag your husband; or the husband to drag the wife depending on how you liked my review.  The food is awesome, the sights are amazing, and it is a nice quiet afternoon in a beautiful log cabin in the woods.  It is lovely!

Cool review! I think you get writing talent from your mom but with your own great style too.
