Mmmm, yummy! Thin pizza. Fresh salads. Indulgent Lasagna. A tiny neighborhood gem. It is hard to go wrong at Piazza Bella. Tucked away on West Roscoe in Roscoe Village in Chicago, Piazza Bella offered thin, individual pizzas long before it was chic. Piazza Bella really feels like a little Italian restaurant from the Italian countryside.
The interior seats about 30 and the outside, great for people watching and neighborhood get-togethers, offers seating for about 25. Due to popularity, they bought the bar next to the restaurant and are trying to build it as a wine bar that plays live music. Weather you are there for drinks or the food, the atmosphere is superb.
Personally I have never been a fan of hard, Italian break, so that might be a drawback for some, but overall the food is excellent and the locale can't be beat. Grazie!
