Physicians Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Tinted Moisturizer Review

I decided to try Physicians Formula 100% Natural Origin Tinted Moisturizer after reading about all of the nasty toxic chemicals that companies put in their cosmetics. I had never used a tinted moisturizer before and was a little skeptical. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that it gave me just enough coverage without being super heavy or cakey.

That being said, I think it could still be improved. The product has a scent to it, which I believe is the result of the natural ingredients in it. It doesn't smell bad, but it smells sort of "grassy". If you're not prepared for it, it's a little surprising. But after using it for a while now I've grown to like it. It's kind of refreshing to put it on in the morning because it makes my face feel nice and cool.

It needs to come in a few more shades. I bought the lightest shade "Ivory to Fair" for my very light colored skin and it seems slightly too dark on its own. I top it off with the same brand's Organic Wear Translucent powder and then it's perfect.

It's a teensy bit oily looking on its own, which I believe is a result of the SPF 15, but a dusting of the translucent powder fixes that instantly.

The condition of my skin has improved dramatically by switching to this from my old Clinique foundation. I don't get the breakouts that I used to be tortured by. This product has been absolutely wonderful for that. And I feel great that I'm using a product that doesn't have all the toxic chemicals added to it, like parabens.

I wear this on days when I don't want to wear much makeup but still need to look good, or days when I know I will be outside in the sun and don't want heavy makeup that will melt. I recommend it!
