I strongly suggest not using Photobucket, they used to be a free service, with an absolutely horrible interface. They then turned to a pay service, with a horrible interface and literally kept all my photos I uploaded when it was free, hostage until I paid them a monthly fee. That should be illegal, they should be shut down and held accountable for keeping peoples treasured memories hostage after switching to a paid service.

I've had a Photobucket account for over 10 years now and it seems to be a dying site. I used to use it for storing all my pictures for my website development. I have noticed though that it's pretty hard to make your pictures private! Back before there were privacy settings, I didn't have to worry about my pictures being public. A few months ago I realized all my pictures that were in my individual albums were all public! It made me really mad and I went right away to make them private. Since then I don't really use Photobucket as much.

I have had a great experiences so far using Photobucket's photo storage service. You can easily upload and store your family photos on this site for free. However, I use it for work, and it has worked nicely for that purpose. The best thing about Photobucket is that it's free. The second best thing is that it is so easy to use. I first found Photobucket while I was searching for somewhere to store my blog's images at a static link. A technical website for bloggers suggested Photobucket for the job. They were right and following very simple instructions got me just what I needed through Photobucket's site. Since I am not very technically savvy, I was amazed when it actually worked, which is a testament to how user-friendly this site is! In addition to a good resource for bloggers, this is also a free photo storage option if you would like your photos backed up at a remote location.

Simply upload your photos and leave them on Photobucket for sharing with others, linking to them when posting on forums or blogs and editing. I needed a photo hosting site so I went to Photobucket , Tried to download the desktop soft from the site and got a Trojan Virus instead that tried to take over my computer. I was on the Photobucket site logged in when this happen. This site is becoming Know for security issues from what I found out after. I had to run a number of Security programs to remove the Trojan from my brand new computer. I am posting this as a public service as many people use this site and many most likely do not even know how at risk they are. Remember I inside the site when this happened. It is a weakest in their download system. Run do not walk away from the program.

This website is one of the best photo storage sites out there.  Photobucket offers free accounts, free storage (up to one GB), free picture editing, secure log-in, bulk uploading, is user-friendly, and so much more. With photobucket I can store and organize my pictures in personalized files and then, using one of the four the easily located codes below each individual picture, add it to my personal website such as myspace.  I can also easily share my photos with my family and friends, even if they are not members of photobucket.  I can either send them a link or I can link my photobucket to sites I use often such as facebook, myspace and picnic. I can also edit my photos.  Whether I want to delete blemishes or add cool effects and backgrounds, photobucket makes editing simple.  You can crop, resize, add stickers and text, add special effects, smooth and sharpen images and much more. In addition to all of this, photobucket users are able to upload images from a website URL, their computers, cell phones and their e-mail. This website is so easy to use that even the most computer-challenged person can use it.

I have used **Photobucket** in the past, but have found several places in their security that gave me cause for concern so I quit using it.  However, today after deciding to finally get rid of the last of the baby items in my household (after all my fourth child is almost 3 now) I knew I needed a place that was easy to share the photos so that I could sell these items quickly and hopefully make some money.  After hours spent cleaning out the house, sorting toys and taking pictures I was looking forward to the final step of loading my pictures and then sharing them on Craigslist and to my mother's group on [Meetup][1] . **Photobucket** is the easiest way to do this.  Also since they are pictures of items only I don't really have any concerns about security. It's not like I am posting pictures of my children wearing the clothes or playing with the toys.  First I tried the easy "bulk" uploader which indicated after my 4th try that I could title my pictures.  I tried to title them and then upload.  Only 9 of the 45 pictures actually loaded. So I start all over again.  Now I am on try 5 deciding to use the regular loader since after all the bulk never worked.  Try 5 I select the pictures to load (after having already wasted plenty of time on this project).  It seemed like this upload was going to take up some time so I decided to do a few chores around the house and keep checking back.  I swept the play room and put toys away. Still loading. I swept the family room, put in a load to wash, and dry, and put toys away. Still loading.  I swept the kitchen, foyer, hallway and washed some dishes. Still loading.  As I sit here and write this review **Photobucket** is STILL LOADING.  I think you get the picture. Pun intended.  Ok, so the account is free, I get this great html coding and it's easy to share with everyone I need to in order to sell these baby toys, clothing, crib and bedding.  But if I can get all those things done before it even finishing the loading then it truly does take far too long.  I am glad to get this project done. I have never had a problem uploading photos and shareing them with friends and family this was such an easy site for me I love it. I scrapbook alot and like to be able to show family that lives out of state my pages and this is a great way for them to see them all and it dont cost anything and you get links on every photo  so sharing is easy.  I think it was the easiest account to set up and use my grandkids can even do it.  And its fun to look at other people pictures also.  Photobucket has been great for me.

Photobucket is a SCAM.  If you allow your paid account to run out, mysteriously your photos will be deleted a day or two afterwards without warning.  Photobucket will confiscate your photos if they feel they violate their policy, without warning or opportunity to take them off.  Once they delete them, they claim they cannot recover them, however, I have heard that there are lawsuits that have been filed against them claiming that Photobucket employees have kept copies of photos that have been deleted, namely nude photographs.  BEWARE of Photbucket and their photo god complex.  Never again will I have anything to do with such an unprofessional company!

**Photobucket **is one of the best online storage websites for all things digital.  I've used **Photobucket** alot in the past to upload photos formany purposes.  It's very easy to do, and more importantly , it's FREE!
