Photobucket —

Have you ever needed to post a photo on a site such as Myspace or another site, but you don't know html? How about posting a picture on a myspace comment or a blog? You still need a code in order for that picture to show up properly. Well I may just have the solution for you.

Photobucket

Its as simple as uploading your pictures onto photobucket and then you can put them in separate folders marked as you need them to be. Once on photobucket it will assign four codes for each type of use. It will give you "Email and IM" , "Direct link", "HTML Code" and "IMG" all used for different applications.

I know that to post a picture in a Myspace comment you would use the "HTML Code" So all you would have to do is left click on that line next to your photobucket picture and it is automatically copied and then you just left click in the section for posting your comment and paste the code along with what you want to say. The picture will then display in that persons comments.

The code is simply a way for a site to find your picture and allow it to show up in that comment. Photobucket is free to join and can be very helpful when you need online photo storage. They do have bandwidth limits on free accounts your album size is limited to 1gb and your allowable bandwidth is limited to 25gb. That means that how ever many pictures you post for others to see such as on myspace cannot exceed 25gb. per month. Once it does your pictures will not be seen.

For Ebay sellers this can be a valuable service to have as you can store all your merchandise pictures on photbucket and easily link them to your ebay account for customers to see. There is even the ability to use mobile devices together with your photobucket account.

Still for free that is a very good deal. I post a few on my actual Myspace page and a few on comments and I have never exceeded even 1gb of bandwidth so far.

Bottom Line

Photobucket.com is a great way to share pictures with you Myspace friends and to post onto the comment section of Myspace or other blog sites. With an easy to join and free way to store your pictures it is a must have for any Myspace or other Blog site user.

It is different for each application too ;( just depends on how the html code was written. I love how they give you four choices though it does make it a bit easier ;)

I use it to post banners for my PTRs. The only problem was I had to figure out which link to use. :)
