Photobucket Review

I have used Photobucket in the past, but have found several places in their security that gave me cause for concern so I quit using it.  However, today after deciding to finally get rid of the last of the baby items in my household (after all my fourth child is almost 3 now) I knew I needed a place that was easy to share the photos so that I could sell these items quickly and hopefully make some money. 

After hours spent cleaning out the house, sorting toys and taking pictures I was looking forward to the final step of loading my pictures and then sharing them on Craigslist and to my mother's group on Meetup. Photobucket is the easiest way to do this.  Also since they are pictures of items only I don't really have any concerns about security. It's not like I am posting pictures of my children wearing the clothes or playing with the toys. 

First I tried the easy "bulk" uploader which indicated after my 4th try that I could title my pictures.  I tried to title them and then upload.  Only 9 of the 45 pictures actually loaded. So I start all over again.  Now I am on try 5 deciding to use the regular loader since after all the bulk never worked. 

Try 5 I select the pictures to load (after having already wasted plenty of time on this project).  It seemed like this upload was going to take up some time so I decided to do a few chores around the house and keep checking back. 

I swept the play room and put toys away. Still loading.

I swept the family room, put in a load to wash, and dry, and put toys away. Still loading. 

I swept the kitchen, foyer, hallway and washed some dishes. Still loading. 

As I sit here and write this review Photobucket is STILL LOADING.  I think you get the picture. Pun intended. 

Ok, so the account is free, I get this great html coding and it's easy to share with everyone I need to in order to sell these baby toys, clothing, crib and bedding.  But if I can get all those things done before it even finishing the loading then it truly does take far too long.  I am glad to get this project done. While this time it does what I need it to do and that's a good thing there will be another long gap before I use Photobucket again.
