Phonak brought back sounds I didn't know I lost! A true miracle.

suffering from inherited hearing loss, hearing impaired, sorry I didn't buy these a few years ago, no longer isolated

My father lost his hearing at age 23. The whys and hows are a long story but suffice to say, I always wondered if I, too, would go deaf like him. I don't know why I wondered that really. But as a young child, I just knew. Someday, I would end up deaf.

I believe in fairness, I believe in honesty, want the best health care possible, value conscious, full of common sense, willing to pay for quality, A realist, no longer isolated

In a world where advertising promises everything, these hearing aids really follow through. I can hear well in just about every environment, and the automatic features take care of it for me. For the limited situations where they don't work as well, my audiologist set up special settings I can access through my remote control to take care of the problem--and it really works! While they were pretty spendy (~$5,500), it was well worth cost--may have saved my marriage :)

My deaf son loves his.. so does my father

My son has been deaf since birth and the digital aids are the only ones he can hear anything with. and so now he will actually wear them.

My father just got his new pair and he was able to turn down the tv and hear things he has not been able to hear in years..

These are well worth the price... but are really pricey
