I use and like Philosophy when hope is not enough facial firming serum but I believe it works best in conjunction with other Philosophy skin care products, especially When Hope and a Prayer Vitamin C Powder. Still, it's a good serum to firm the skin and ward off free radicals that make skin appear aged.

This serum comes in a brown bottle with a dropper. The serum is clear with a slightly pine scent. You need just a drop or two after cleansing on bare skin. It doesn't burn or irritate even my sensitive skin. You will feel a tightening of your face but nothing uncomfortable. It's just firming as it should. You can then go ahead and apply your moisturizer and go on with your life. This serum is best used in the morning. Your skin will feel firmer and look a bit lifted. It will glow and have a more even texture and tone. This is NOT a miracle serum and it won't take 10 years off your face but it is quite a good serum to tighten the facial skin and keep pores looking tiny. If you use it with the Vitamin C powder, which is my absolute favorite beauty product - from any brand ever - you will get double the benefits.
Philosophy products work great as a system and I would suggest using this serum with their other products. You can check out www.philosophygirl.com for a GREAT deal on the whole set of products at a huge savings - auto shipped and broken into payments. I swear by it. Anyway, as for this serum, I have tried others and they were all varying degrees of OK. This one also is OK in the better range. I don't note any miracles but I do like it and I do use it daily to keep my skin firm and detoxed.
My Viewpoint
Philosophy when hope is not enough facial firming serum is a clear, non sticky serum that will help firm and tighten facial and neck skin and will aid in making pores appear much smaller. It also has antioxidants in it to give skin glow and evenness. A little goes a long way. I get three to four months daily use from one bottle and I tend to use more than necessary. I like this serum and, if you worry about your skin not being as firm as it once was, I think giving this a shot is merited. It's good and so concentrated. 4 stars. It's also pricey at $35.00 a bottle which is why I recommend getting the whole kit which saves you at least half off the retail cost of individual products.
