Philosophy the Great Mystery Deep Cleansing Daily Facial is somewhat of a mystery even to our reviewers. This thick, smooth Vaseline-like product is to be applied on the face for a few minutes then rinsed off. Although it claims to exfoliate, there are no exfoliation particles in the thick formula. Our reviewers say that their skin is soft after they use Philosophy the Great Mystery Deep Cleansing Daily Facial but it certainly isn't a staple in their skin care regiment. It really IS a mystery. I'm not sure what it does but I like it.
willing to pay for quality, a strong believer in good skin care, a dry skin sufferer, a Philosophy fan(atic), very skin conscious

Quick View: I try every skin care product introduced by Philosophy and most are really good. This is good but I am still not sure what it really does. It's a mystery all right. I just use it and hope for the best.

Good for my daughter, but not me.

I really like the Philosophy line, but I didn't care for this product.  It broke me out.  I gave it a couple weeks, but it never improved.  My daughter was struggling with some acne and tried it, and it did work for her.  Maybe it is geared more towards the teenage skin problems rather than adult

Can be used everyday. I live in Colorado and the air is very dry but this product does wonders for my face. I am so bummed that this product is no longer being made by Philosophy =(
