I will never forget the day I saw my first bottle of Philosophy Shampoo and Shower Gel. Christmas shopping was upon us and there I stood, in the Cosmetics Department at Marshall Field's, staring down at a bottle of stuff named "Gingerbread" which even sported a recipe for gingerbread on the label. I was confused -- was I supposed to EAT it or pour it over me?
A lot of showers have gone down the drain since then and I can see clearly now -- Philosophy Three-in-One Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Bath formula is designed to cleanse skin gently but effectively. This is one of a large family of Philosophy products which are being marketed not only through department and drug stores but through the company's own website ... Philosophy.com. I recommend the website because of the vast variety of items for sale, including some I had never heard of.
For instance, my experience with Philosophy Three-in-One products has been mostly seasonal ... namely, Christmas. So I've tried Gingerbread, Peppermint, and am now working my way through a leftover bottle of Spiced Apple Cider(!). It wasn't until accessing the website that I realized this great product also came in other "flavors" including: Mimosa, Margarita, Daiquiri, Raspberry Sorbet, Strawberry Milkshake, Coconut Frosting, Crumb Berry Pie, Red Delicious Apple, Old-Fashioned Lemonade, Sweet Coconut Milk, Powdered Sugar Cookie, Frozen Lemon Custard, Be a Peach, Red Velvet Cake, Tangerine, Lime, and Banana ... to say nothing of other special signature Philosophy fragrances and beauty products.
The price of Philosophy Three-in-One Shampoo, Shower Gel and Bubble Bath seems to be fairly universal, no matter where you buy it (including their website) ... $16 for a 16-oz. bottle. Sometimes Drugstore.com runs very good sales on the item for only $12 or $13 a bottle. There are probably other wonderful things to be said about Philosophy but it might have been a mistake listing those great "flavors". I don't know about you but now I'm hungry and I'm going to get something to EAT!
