For those people who haven't tried Philosophy products before, I think the Philosophy Warm By the Fire gift set would be a perfect introduction.  For my birthday present to myself, I ordered a ton of stuff at Sephora.com and this gift set was one of the items I purchased.  It was regularly priced at $30 and on sale for $18, so I figured now is a good time to try some new products.

The Philosophy Warm By the Fire gift set comes in adorable packaging!  The products are encased in a cardboard log of firewood.  Outside of the log of firewood is a handle to carry your Warm By the Fire gift set.  When you remove the handle and open the firewood log, there are three products inside:

Each product smells exactly like it's title.  As always, there is a recipe on the product too.  Although I am totally satisfied with the scents of each product, I am a little disappointed in the performance of the Melting Marshmallow Cream Body Souffle.  Although it smells great and is very light, it is a little too sticky in my opinion.  However, I do love the Double Rich Hot Cocoa 3-in-1 Shower Gel and the Ooey Gooey S'mores Lip Shine.

I think Philosophy Warm By the Fire gift set is great for people who want to try new Philosophy scents without having to buy the full-size product.  I also think it would make an excellent gift for the holidays.  The packaging is so cute and what girl wouldn't love a trio of great smelling beauty products!

I'm good AnnaBanana, thanks for asking!

I haven't smelled the Peppermint by Philosophy yet, but it sure sounds good!

I'm having second thoughts if for no other reason than I know this young lady (a hard-working young nurse) REALLY is crazy about the peppermint Philosophy they have out at this time of year. WHAT TO DO, HUH? Boy, these big decisions can kill ya! (haha)

How are you doing today?

It's on sale at Sephora.com right now and I have the feeling when it sells out, they are letting it go because they just introduced all the Christmas gift sets and they are not on sale. So if you are going to get it, you might want to get it soon :)

Leave it to me to classify it under "Websites", specifically "Beauty Websites!"

I feel bad, i didn't mean to ask you to go in and read it, I know how busy you are, but I only suggested it because of all the wacky flavors they have come up with. You probably kknow a lot about them anyway but it was an awful lot of fun for me to list them all. COCONUT FROSTING!!!!!!!!

Well, now it is still raining here but if I don't go to the 7/11, I won't make it at all and I have gotten used to that exercise byte at the end of the day.

Take care!

Once again, I really liked the kit you reviewed, I think I will buy that for my young friend.

I wanted to read your Philosophy review, but I couldn't find it in Beauty, Health or Home. What is category is your review in? I love to hear about their great scents :)

I think this would be the cutest gift for a sophisticated young lady of my acquaintance. I also love Philosophy products and did a review about them. It is an amazing variety of "flavors" indeed!

The packaging is part of what lured me in! I'm a sucker for advertising/marketing :)

What a cute packaging idea. I'd buy just because of the whole "chocolate by the fire" presentation. :)
