Good for on the go, but too expensive for me to use regularly.

Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Cloths 20 Each —

I bought a kit with several Philosophy skin care products that I love such as Philosophy Purity Made Simple One Step Facial CleanserPhilosophy Hope in a Jar Moisturizer and Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash and, in it, was a package of Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Cloths (20 Each). I like these cloths well enough but I really don't feel they are "must haves". They're expensive and unnecessary if you use a facial scrub regularly. However, they are good for travel.

Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Cloths

These cloths are 4 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches and are dry, white sheets of somewhat stiff material. They are textured to help cleanser act more like an exfoliator and to scrub the skin. The cloths are not pre-treated with cleanser so they are to be used with your favorite facial cleanser or soap. Philosophy recommends that these be used only one to two times per week and not around the eye area or on broken skin.

The cloths are one use types which are tossed away after one face washing. I used one of the cloths with Philosophy Purity Cleanser and it did add a little bit of exfoliation to the gentle cleanser but I use a scrub and cleansers with exfoliating particles in it so I really didn't need the benefits of the cloth. Still, these are good for travel because I don't have to worry about using a washcloth that needs to be washed and dried every time I wash my face. I can use one Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Cloth and throw it out. Each time I wash my face, I get a bacteria free clean cloth to use.

The cloths are pricey when bought alone. They're $15.00 for a pack of 20. For cloths that aren't pre-moistened and are just little sheets of textured paper, that's a lot of money! I will use mine when I travel for convenience but I won't be using them at home. I have plenty of facial scrubs and exfoliating cleansers that do the same job as the cloths for less.

My Viewpoint

Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Cloths are good for travel and are bacteria free. The fact that you use them once and throw them out is appealing for travel, especially when my family and I go camping. However, I don't feel they do anything special and I think they're expensive. I am going with a 3 star rating. Good for on the go, not so great for daily use at home.

These sound great for the person who can afford to throw away money with every wash of the face. I think I'll stick with my Equate facial cloths; which include the exfoliate and cleanser. I get them from Walmart. You probably saw my review way back when :+)

Yeah, I am not impressed either. They are really just OK little cloths with a weird little hole on the top. No idea what that hole is for.
